Teaching our Next Generation about Sustainable Urban Development
Landcom is proud to have developed a multi-award winning teaching program to help kids learn about sustainable development through urban design.
Developed with the NSW Department of Education and Curriculum Corporation, My Neighbourhood is an interactive computer-based program with lesson plans written to meet NSW syllabus requirements for Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4).
The program has been distributed to all Primary and K-12 schools in NSW and all the materials can also be downloaded here.

My Neighbourhood combines Landcom’s practical urban development experience with DET’s teaching expertise. It has been recognised with the following State and National awards:
